The Study

This was the first room we refurbished; I had been kept on as a part time employee by Wardell Armstrong and I needed a study.

As the picture to left illustrates we had more than minor damp problem. The wood burner helped a lot to dry things out but it was not until 2013 when Matt Park and friends pointed the outside wall and rebuilt that chimney stack that the penetrating damp problem was permanently resolved.
